A combination of colour, vibrancy and humility, Miss Molly is a tale that was born before it began..

Born in the seventies and blessed with a very colourful, happy childhood, Miss Molly was raised on a farm located on the fringe of the Karoo with Xhosa as a first language.

Miss Molly’s closest friends and playmates, her ntombis (young Xhosa girls), can be considered some of her greatest teachers, for they taught her how to be a survivor and they taught her how to bead. A deep-rooted part of the Xhosa culture, as well as an integral form of communication, beads were not simply objects, but a means of bringing people together.

Inspired by the strength of African women, Miss Molly is more than a collection of spirited beads; it is a tale of passion, it is an opportunity to give back, it is a gracious thank you to the women of Africa.
